Gilt artist’s device on upper cover. Gilt rule on binding edges, All edges gilt. Endpapers with large gilt “Pegasus” decoration by Flint. Essays on various occasions and in diverse moods with favourite quotations. Decorated and enlivened by the artist with 60 illustrations and devices. A fine copy in original marbled paper covered slipcase with ribbon pull. Slipcase is initialled WRF so one assumes this copy belonged to the author/artist.
