Written and contrived by Sir William Russell Flint . One of 25 copies (525) in full blue morocco. Signed by the author. Printed in blue, red and black on Tullis Russell’s Mellotex Super-White paper. 12.5 x 8.25 ins. 130 pp. + Colophon. Full bound in blue morocco with gilt spine titling between five raised bands. Gilt artist’s device on upper cover. Gilt rule on binding edges, All edges gilt. Endpapers with large gilt “Pegasus” decoration by Flint. Essays on various occasions and in diverse moods with favourite quotations. Decorated and enlivened by the artist with 60 illustrations and devices. A fine copy in original marbled paper covered slipcase with ribbon pull. Slipcase is initialled WRF so one assumes this copy belonged to the author/artist.
