Number 19 of 50 (250) special copies accompanied by a suite of signed four-colour wood engravings by Gaylord Schanilec. Signed on the Colophon by Schanilec, the book’ designer, printer and illustrator and the author, Mary Logue. Set in Walbaum Monotype with hand-set Bodoni, Stradivarious and Balle types. 8vo. 10 x 7 ins. 61 pp. Original half binding in maroon leather with marbled paper covered boards. Bound at the Campbell-Logan Bindery. One vignette and 5 full page coloured wood enrgavings by Gaylord Schanilec including one entitled, “The Wrong House”. After finishing his winter engraving Schanilec returned to Mary Logue’s house in Stockholm. Finding no one home he wandered around taking photographs only to discover, when Mary Logue waved at him from the house across the way. that he was photographing “the wrong house.” Book and suite of signed engravings housed in a slightly faded clamshell case with leather title label on spine.
