Private Press & Illustrated Books
Here you will find a great number of books illustrated with wood engravings from the leading private presses of the 20’s and 30’s – the “golden age” of British wood engraving. Golden Cockerel, Gregynog and Nonesuch presses are well represented as are many contemporary private presses. Inevitably, beautifully printed and illustrated books creep in as well.
