Number 102 of 150 copies set in Lutetia and Romulus Open types and printed in red and black on BFK Rives paper. Hand-printed on an Albion press by Miles Wigfield at his Reading Room Press. 10 X 6.5 ins. 61 pp. Bound by Chris Hicks in quarter scarlet cloth with black cloth covered boards with decorative labels front and back. Gilt spine titling. The cover designs are presumed to be by Ceri Richards who also provided the 25 delightful vignette illustrations in colour, printed recto only at the Senecio press. “A”, the first letter of the alphabet is accompanied by text only as it was missing from the stapled booklet found amongst Tessimond’s papers which was signed by Tessimond and Richards and dated 1930. Tessimond was a published poet who made a living as an advertising copywriter. As new.
