Folio. 14 X 9.5 ins. 202 pp. Quarter vellum with vellum tips and tan paper covered boards. Title in orange on spine and upper cover. 74 woodcuts by Edward Gordon Craig which took 17 years to execute. Typography by Edward Johnston. Two initials, title over first woodcut and spine titling by Eric Gill. A fine copy in slightly soiled and worn slipcase. 8 pp. history of the Cranach Press and the printing of “Hamlet” in pocket on rear paste-down.
