Killed trgically early, at the battle of El Alamein, the artist was held in high esteem by his fellow wood engraving students Gwenda Morgan and Rachel Reckitt and was considered one of his best students by the Director of the Grosvenor School, Iain Macnab. This volume includes virtually all of Tom Chadwick’s known work – wood engravings, drawings, oil paintings (reproduced in full colour) – as well as a number of photographs. As new in slipcase.
