Designs by the artist on upper and lower covers including hand-drawn lettering. Further designs by the artist on deep flaps front and rear. Conceived by Freedman in 1939 but not published until 1949, post war. Promoting the honest goodness of real cheese made in Welsh and English farmhouses…”for the gourmet’s guidance”. A near fine copy of one of Freedman’s most charming commercial undertakings.
