Caslon Old Face type and printed on Batchelor hand-made paper. 10.5 X 7.5 ins. 18 pp. Bound in white buckram with gilt title on spine. Title page vignette and 6 large wood engravings by Robert Gibbings. This was the first of four Bible stories issued by the Press. Gibbings set the type unjustified to accompany his powerful wood engravings which pleased modernist typographers. A fine copy with very light browning to endpapers. In its original dust-jacket which has slight chipping and foxing.
