Number 274 of 450 copies set in Caslon Old Face type and printed on Kelmscott hand-made paper. 9 X 5.25 ins. 35 pp. Quarter linen with blue paper covered boards. Paper title label on spine. 8 wood engravings by Eric Gill. A near fine copy inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, “Henry Simpson with all good wishes from Enid Clay “. Henry Simpson was a founder member and President of the Poets’ Club which met in London beginning in 1908. The Club offered amateur poets a chance to meet once a month to read and discuss poetry.
