Endpapers by the artist printed in four to six colours. 4 double-page woodcuts printed in 4 to 6 colours, 5 single page woodcuts printed in three colours and line illustrations throughout printed in green. In hospital, following an operation, Rigby Graham “lay tethered and triangulated by drip, drain and catheter”. Leafing through his many sketchbooks provided the escape he needed and, later, formed the basic structure of “Kippers & Sawdust”. A fine copy in original pictorial slipcase covered in sage green Ingres paper with all-round woodcut in black.
