Full plum-coloured cloth with paper title label on upper cover and gilt title on spine. A facsimile edition of the artist’s 1917 unpublished sketchbook. 37 full page colour illustrations printed recto. These charming, simple, children’s toys were collected by Lovat Fraser and as a token of his love he gave his entire collection to his wife-to-be before proposing marriage.
