Number 27 of 150 (500) special copies full bound in crimson morocco with a Suite of 8 additional prints in a marbled paper folder. Written and designed by William Russell Flint and signed by him on the Colophon. Set in 13 pt. Pastonchi type and printed in red and black on mould-made paper at the John Roberts Press. 12 X 7.5 ins. v, 123 pp. Full crimson morocco by Sangoski & Sutcliffe with gilt titling between six raised bands on spine. Gilt blocked cockerel on upper cover. T.E.G., others incut. Marbled endpapers. Colour frontispiece and vignette on title page and 51 crayon drawings throughout reproduced by photogravure. A fine copy with book and 8 plates in slightly soiled and handled marbled paper slip. Book and plates held in original marbled paper slipcase.
