Set in Monotype Caslon and printed in red and black on Gampi vellum. Small folio. 12 x 8.75 ins. Bound in full vellum by Smith Settle. Gilt spine titling. Celebrating the centenary of John Nash’s birth. The twenty one wood engravings are printed on vellum from the original blocks – including seven engravings from “Poisonous Plants”. This copy belonged to Allen Freer, educator, writer, art critic, art collector and friend of John Nash. A very fine copy in original cream cloth covered drop-back box lined with green paper. Paper spine label on box.
