Edited and translated by Hans Schmoller. 2 volumes. Number 95 of 99 (1500) copies designed, composed and printed on Sarego paper at the Stamperia Valdonega, Verona. Folio. 12 X 8 ins. Volume I: 286 pp. with numerous illustrations to the text with frontispiece half-tone of Mandrsteig at his Press. Gilt spine titling and top edge gilt. Volume II: 90 pp. with ten original bifolia, from books hand-printed at the Officina Bodoni between 1924 and 1976, bound in between brown card leaves. Includes a rare vellum leaf from Ovid’s “Nasonis Amores”. Press device in gilt on spine. Both volumes in quarter brown morocco with gilt rule and tan basket weave cloth over boards. A fine set in fine matching slipcase as published.
