Setting out the early history of “The Wood” followed by numerous sketches by Joan Wanklyn of the daily life and work of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. Many of these drawings are full page. Joan Wanklyn (1924-1999) excelled at portraying horses and artillery with an amazing eye for detail. For over 30 years she was the Regimental Artist known to every Gunner. A near fine copy in its original plain wrapper which is slightly soiled.
