Mary Nancy Skempton studied at the Royal College of Art School of Design where she was taught by Eric Ravilious and John Nash amongst others. Later she studied with Noel Rooke at the Central School of Arts & Crafts. Manchester Metropolitan University Special Collectios now holds an archival collection of her wood engravings.
